I have a passion for the Early Years and strive to offer every child the opportunity to reach their full potential in a safe and enabling environment.
We occupy a large, purpose built nursery in Luton, ideally situated next to London Luton Airport and close to Capability Green Business Park, designed and built specifically to facilitate outstanding childcare - with our own outdoor play space.
It’s hard to find a day nursery in Luton - or the surrounding area - with wonderful facilities for both indoor and outdoor play. Situated in a convenient location next to Luton Airport, and easy to reach from local towns such as Harpenden (a 10 minute drive away), our Luton nursery has both, and we’ve incorporated lots of information about our facilities on our Our Nursery page, and lots of photos of our children at play throughout our website. Thank you to our parents for granting their permission for us to share these photos.
Our philosophy and practice
We’ve taken care to explain our approach to childcare in some detail on our Caring For Your Child page. I think that this is particularly important, as not every Luton nursery operates in the same way. We explain our ‘Key Person Approach’ and how this enables us to know both you and your child really well – and better meet your child’s needs. We also explain how our nursery and outdoor environments contribute to your child’s development with us.
Here at Prospect House we have a great partnership with parents – working closely to ensure that we are meeting their individual needs. I strongly believe in creating warm, caring and friendly environments, where children and their families feel cared for, valued and loved - and where they can genuinely feel at home. As children’s primary educators, the relationships we build with parents are as important as the relationships we build with our children. These relationships create a ‘home from home’ atmosphere and help children to feel safe and secure, leaving them free to immerse themselves in play.
We’ve tried to include as much information as possible here on our website, and you’ll find much of it on our Parent Information page. I believe we’re the only Luton nursery to open from 7.30am – 6.30pm, Monday – Friday for 51 weeks of the year (we close during Christmas week) and offer a variety of sessions to suit most family’s individual needs at competitive and inclusive prices. We also offer FREE childcare places for ALL 3 and 4 year old children (and many 2 year olds), and provide nutritious ‘home cooked’ lunches and teas – the details of which are all explained on this page.
The best day nursery in Luton
Of course it’s natural to be proud of your nursery when you work with a team who strive to provide wonderful care to children every day - and I’m no exception. I truly believe that Prospect House is the best nursery in Luton. I hope that our parent testimonials bear this out - and you may enjoy reading our latest OFSTED Report.
Finally, while we regard Prospect House as a Luton nursery, we also have many parents who use us from Harpenden, Leighton Buzzard and Dunstable – as well as from numerous local villages. You’ll find a map showing our location on our Contact Us page - as well as our contact details. If we look as though we could provide a childcare solution for you, then we’d love to see you at the nursery and show you around - so please give us a call on 01582 456382 or pop in to see us, and meet our team.
